Laricifomes officinalis is a wood-decay fungus in the order Polyporales. It causes brown heart rot on conifers, and is present in Europe, Asia, and North Canada, in addition to Morocco. It is commonly often known as agarikon, psilocybin capsules as effectively as the quinine conk because of its extraordinarily bitter style. DNA evaluation supports L. officinalis as being distinct from the genus Fomitopsis.
